High performance oil pump gears are required under excess engine pressure created from aftermarket performance applications. These gears are drastically stronger than the factory standard gears which are likely to fail on high performance setups. Utilizing 4340 alloy material, these gears from our vendor has been tested and proven on many 950-1000hp vehicles when combined with the 4340 billet backing plate. Get that added insurance on your barra build.
