A turbo side intake relocates the air intake system closer to the turbocharger on the drivers side of the engine bay, whilst simultaneously moving the battery to the passenger side of the car. From the factory, the XR6 Turbo intake routing is longer, going over the top of the engine soaking heat and positioned further away from the turbo. While it works fine for stock power levels, once boost levels increase, the factory intake can become a restriction.
