What should I get first?
It depends on what you want:
If you’re new to installing parts yourself, start small with intakes or piping.
Will I be able to install these items myself?
For most parts, yes. Modding cars isn’t a dark art, it’s basically Lego for adults. Most of our parts can be installed with a basic tool kit and no hoist. There’s plenty of install info online, but harder jobs like turbos or engine internals may be beyond a DIY setup.
Can I mix and match parts from different brands?
Yes, as long as the parts are compatible, especially at connection points like piping, intercoolers, and turbos. Most parts work in sizing that needs to be matched up; 3" piping to 3" end tanks, an4 pipe to an4 lines etc. Where you have size differences you will need reducers or adapters. Again its like Lego, figuring out the easiest way to join two different things together.
Can I buy all the parts and have everything installed and tuned at Antz?
Yes. We can supply, install, and tune everything at our Geelong workshop. We are now tuning most cars, though if you are interstate or not in the Geelong region we have a broad range of expert shops we work closely with who can help you out. Get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.
Can you install parts that you don’t sell?
Yes. We can install parts you supply and also help source parts if needed.
Does my car need to be tuned after installation?
It depends on the part. Intakes, piping, and intercoolers usually don’t need tuning unless the size changes drastically which can affect your stock tune. Anything that affects engine output, fuelling or runs past a sensor — downpipes, injectors, turbos — will generally need a tune.
Will these parts affect my warranty or legality?
This depends on the part, your warranty, and your state. Most performance parts are designed for race use, so check local regulations. Our 4x4 parts are generally road legal and shouldn’t affect warranty or roadworthiness.
How does installation work?
We offer both in-house installation and supply-only options.
ANTZ Performance has been trained directly by HAMER, at HAMER, to install their products correctly and to manufacturer standards.
You can choose to:
Please note: Installation is not as easy as it may look. We use specialised tools, adhesives, and installation techniques learned through training at HAMER and hands-on experience to fit these products correctly. If you’re planning to install it yourself, make sure you’ve done your research and are confident you can complete the job. If you get stuck halfway through, you can’t assume a workshop will be able to step in and finish it off for you.
If you're unsure, our team is happy to help you decide the best option for your setup.
How much does installation cost?
Our standard drive-in, drive-out bull bar installation is $770.
Additional accessories such as:
are charged hourly on top of the base installation price, as the time required can vary depending on the setup.

If you need confirmation for a specific vehicle or state requirement, contact our team and we’ll confirm compatibility.
Will installing a bull bar affect my vehicle warranty?
No — bull bars are a well-known and widely accepted modification for 4WD vehicles.
Under Australian consumer law, only issues directly related to the modification can affect warranty coverage for that specific component.
For example, an engine issue cannot be attributed to a bull bar installation.
HAMER products are designed specifically for vehicle compatibility, and because we follow manufacturer installation procedures and training from HAMER, you can be confident the product is installed correctly.
If you have any specific concerns about your vehicle warranty, our team is happy to discuss it with you.
