Machined from Billet 4340 steel and hardened to increase bearing life with a greater oil delivery and anti-cavitation, billet 4340 material is 5 times stronger then the inferior 6061 alloy material backing plates advertised by others.

A must have when installing aftermarket oil pump gears, the oil pump gears in combination with the billet backing plate from our vendor has been tested and proven on many 950-1000hp vehicles when utilized together.
