The GCG5452R Bolt-On Upgrade Turbocharger is designed for enthusiasts chasing serious power gains from the Mercedes-Benz A45, CLA45, and GLA45 AMG platforms while retaining direct bolt-on fitment. Engineered around the factory twin-scroll turbocharger layout, this upgraded unit delivers significantly improved top-end performance without requiring extensive modifications.
This custom-built turbocharger retains the factory twin-scroll turbine housing and compressor housing, allowing it to bolt directly into the OEM turbo location for straightforward installation. Designed specifically for high-performance Stage 3 applications, the GCG5452R utilises a ball-bearing CHRA, larger 6+6 billet compressor wheel, and a GT30-series turbine wheel to provide exceptional high-RPM airflow and power capability.
Real-world testing has shown this setup capable of producing approximately 400HP at all four wheels when combined with the ANTZ intake kit, downpipe, and supporting modifications. The setup is designed for customers prioritising strong top-end performance over low-RPM response, with full boost (~30psi) achieved at approximately 4500RPM on the test vehicle.
Unlike many generic upgrade turbos, this package also includes replacement oil and water line fittings to suit the upgraded core configuration, ensuring proper fitment and reliability.
